Description: Roomy tote (12" x 15" x 4.5") and shoulder bag (10" x 12" x 3") are fun to knit. Suitable for adventurous beginners. Includes instructions for lining with pockets. Makes a great knitting bag. Shown above in Recycled Silk at 3.5 sts/inch on US #8 (5mm) needles, Shoulder Bag takes 400 yards, and Tote takes 480 yards. Or use any non-stretchy yarn with needles 1-2 sizes smaller than normal.
