Description: These popular bags are knit in easy short rows. Fun for adventurous beginners. Bag size depends on yarn size. Above, left to right: Large in Recycled Silk on US #8 (5 mm) needles, Medium in bulky green chenille on US #7 (4.5 mm) needles, and Medium in periwinkle Ironstone Island Cotton on US #10 (6 mm) needles – the yarn size makes the difference! You can see a wooden 12" ruler at the lower left in the photo, to get an idea of sizes. Medium size requires 200 yds (bulky chenille) to 450 yds (Island Cotton), Large requires 375 yds (Recycled Silk). Use needles 2 sizes smaller than normal for your yarn. Yardage given is estimated - your mileage may vary.
